It's time to create approachable entry points for souls to encounter Jesus and to equip disciples for mission in DeKalb County.
We Need Mission.
DeKalb County in 2026, is mission territory. Just 2.25% of people in DeKalb County receive Our Lord in the Eucharist each Sunday. That means 97.75% of our brothers and sisters around us are not encountering our Lord in his intimate and desired state. This is likely the lowest percentage of the population in DeKalb County to know Jesus Christ in the Eucharist since 1870.

Your many prayers, comments, insights, and conversations before and after masses have given us the hope that we as a community of parishes are not only ready to do mission here in DeKalb County, but desirous for it. That said, we are working with the three priests to formulate the next steps.
