Who We Are
The Tilma is a welcoming community of individuals committed to walking with others on their spiritual journey, especially those who are unfamiliar with or hesitant about Catholicism.

The Tilma helps people take their next step in faith and connect them with a local church that feels like home, offering honest conversations, community, and support.
Our Mission Statement
To serve as a bridge for spiritual growth, fostering encounters with God through praise, teaching, and missionary formation in a supportive environment.
What does "The Tilma" mean?
When the Lady of Guadalupe appeared in Mexico to Blessed Juan Diego, an Aztec Indian, she left a miraculous image of her appearance on his cloak, also called tilma.
The tilma features Mary enveloped in a light-blue cloak speckled with 8-point stars, and her image is a sign of faith and hope.
The name "The Tilma" symbolizes a place of warmth, protection, and transformation - a stepping stone toward deeper faith and belonging!
Our Core Values
- Joy filled
- Encounter Driven
- Supernaturally Reliant
- Unwavering Hearts
- Serving the One
What to expect from The Tilma
Through praise nights, healing gatherings, and introductory classes, The Tilma provides opportunities tailored for those new or returning to the faith.
We encourage real conversations that welcome doubt and questions, moving beyond surface-level interactions. People can explore faith freely, without feeling pressured to conform or perform.
